Helping Children Start the School Year Prepared and Confident
Every child deserves to walk into the classroom on the first day of school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn. KidCare International’s KidsPak Back to School program is an annual community initiative providing new backpacks and essential school supplies to children and families throughout the communities we serve.
Each summer, KidCare works with local school districts, student and family resource centers, community organizations, churches, businesses, and volunteers to identify families who could benefit from additional support as they prepare for the new school year.
Backpacks Filled With the Tools to Succeed
Through KidsPak, students receive new backpacks filled with age-appropriate school supplies and classroom essentials. By providing these basic necessities, KidCare helps reduce the financial burden of back-to-school expenses on families while ensuring students have the tools they need from their first day in the classroom.
Our annual distributions are organized in partnership with local schools and family resource centers, allowing KidCare to reach children directly within the communities where they live and learn.

More Than 200 Families Served
In a recent KidsPak program, more than 200 families received backpacks and school supplies through KidCare International and our community partners. Some families participated in an in-person distribution, while additional backpacks and supplies were provided to a local Student and Family Resource Center for distribution to families throughout the school district.
The program demonstrates how collaboration can dramatically increase our reach and ensure donated resources get directly into the hands of children who need them.
A Community Effort
KidsPak is powered by generosity. Corporate partners such as Five Below Corporation have provided backpacks, while community partners including Granite Creek Community Church of Claremont have contributed school supplies and other resources. Local businesses such as CMAX Commercial Maintenance Corporation of Ontario have provided financial support to help purchase additional supplies.
Volunteers are equally important. Each year, KidCare volunteers work alongside school personnel and community partners to organize supplies, prepare backpacks, welcome families, and distribute everything students need for the beginning of the school year.
Start the School Year With Hope
KidsPak is about more than pencils, notebooks, and backpacks. It is about giving children the opportunity to begin a new school year knowing that their community is behind them.
By bringing donors, volunteers, schools, businesses, and community organizations together each year, KidCare International is helping students arrive at school equipped, encouraged, and ready to learn.
Businesses, churches, civic organizations, and individuals can support KidsPak by donating backpacks or school supplies, hosting a supply drive, sponsoring students, making a financial contribution, or volunteering at an annual KidsPak distribution event.
