Whenever a natural disaster strikes, KidCare is there. The most vulnerable people during an emergency are children. KidCare International operates a hands-on receiving of humanitarian aid and relief. KidCare teams have personally received and distributed the contents of shipping containers and air-transported humanitarian aid. Since 1991, KidCare International has hand-delivered more than forty 40-foot ocean freight containers into some of the worst humanitarian disasters of this century without ever losing a container to corrupt officials. With the help of generous American companies and individuals, humanitarian aid has been given to refugees and suffering people in Kosovo, Columbia, New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, Haiti, Russia (in the early years after the fall of communism), Sri Lanka after the Tsunami, South Africa, Mexico, and Tanzania.
