Creating Christmas Memories for Children Who Need Them Most
For more than three decades, KidCare International has worked to bring hope to children and families in our community. Each holiday season, that mission comes to life through KidCare International’s Annual Christmas Party, one of our largest and most meaningful events.
Working alongside local law enforcement agencies, schools, community organizations, and family resource partners, KidCare identifies children and families experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity, financial hardship, or a significant tragedy or crisis in their lives. Our goal is simple: make sure these children have an opportunity to experience the joy, dignity, and excitement of Christmas.

More Than a Toy Distribution
The Annual Christmas Party is designed to be a celebration. Children and their families are welcomed into a festive environment where they can enjoy Christmas activities, spend time together, and experience a community coming together on their behalf.
Each child receives new Christmas gifts selected from thousands of toys collected and donated by our community partners. The event is made possible through the generosity of businesses, public agencies, volunteers, churches, and individual donors who believe every child deserves to feel remembered during the holidays.
More Than 1,000 Attendees
Last year, more than 1,000 children, parents, family members, volunteers, and community partners participated in KidCare International’s Christmas celebration.

Thousands of toys were collected through community partnerships, including:
Claremont Police Department Toy Drive
The City of Claremont Police Department and the community help collect new toys that are distributed to children participating in the Christmas program.
City of Upland “Fill the BearCat” Toy Drive
Residents, businesses, and community partners come together to fill the Upland Police Department’s BearCat vehicle with new toys for local children.
Five Below
A generous corporate donation from Five Below provides additional toys and gifts, helping KidCare serve even more children during the Christmas season.
The Community Makes Christmas Possible
The Annual Christmas Party reflects what KidCare International has believed since its founding in 1991: when a community comes together, we can make an extraordinary difference in a child’s life.
Law enforcement officers, city employees, businesses, churches, nonprofit partners, volunteers, and donors all play a role. Some collect toys. Some sponsor the event. Others volunteer their time. Together, they create an experience that reminds children and families facing difficult circumstances that their community sees them, values them, and cares about them.
