Danielle was 16 year old and in her junior year at Foothill High in Tustin. When she was searching for a philanthropic opportunity she came across our cow project. Danielle loves cereal with milk as one of her favorite snacks and came up with the idea of selling cereal with milk at school every morning for a small donation of two dollars. She raised $75 in one day, and then family members joined in and helped raise another $150 at their place of employment. Word-of-mouth grew, and others donated. Danielle’s friends at school and teachers were very supportive and excited about the project. Danielle met her goal and raised more than $400 to purchase a cow and support continues to buy food for the cow.
